Can't comment on those specific boots, but I have a pair of insulated Danner Pronghorns and would say they are the best boots I have ever owned.

A-Bomb..........i've got 3 pair of uninsulated Pronghorns around here and would agree they are tops........was wanting to get some input on the "elk hunter" model........they look like a good canine trapping boot.......

I don't have the un-insulated model but I do have the 600 gram insulated elk hunters that are sold under the Cabela's brand name (acutally made by Danner). They are without the finest boots I've ever owned. I am comparing with the Pronghorn and Frontier (both Danner and both great), Rocky, Lacrosse, Irish Setter as well as a few others. While they are pricy, they are worth every nickel! I've been wearing mine for about 3 years now and when they do wear out I will order another pair in a heartbeat but that seems to be quite a ways off. Hope this helps!

love Danner boots. I've had the elhunters and just bought the pronghorns last season. Best boots i've ever had.
