Is this a botton buck or tiny spiked yearling? Seems like every few years I see such a deer......might even be two different deer in the photos.

Yearling, the nose is too long for a fawn. While a fawn may have polished 1/2 inch nubs, those spikes are too long for a fawn.

Very late-born yearling. I've seen a few of those. Too bad to, as they are behind the 8-ball all their lives.
