I'm having a brain fart here.. can't really wrap my mind around this.
A rifle is zeroed in at 100 yards. At 150 yards it's 1.5" low. At 200 yards it's 4.25" low.
Assuming 1/4" adjustments on the scope, what would be the adjustment to zero it at 200 yards? 17 clicks? No way.. Would it simply depend on the ballistics/trajectory?

8 clicks i think. Which would make it 2 inches high at a 100 and that puts my gun dead on at 200.

Depends on if you zero for 200 at 100 or for 200 at 200? If you zero for 200 at 200 your adjustments wil go to 1/2 inch so you will need about 8 clicks. If you zero for 200 at 100 then you will need 17 clicks. Edited to say i THINK thats right.

If 1 click is 1/4" at 100 yards, you would need half as many clicks at 200 yards (about 8 in this case) or twice as many clicks at 50 yards.

All depending on the scopes quality of adjustments the above should be close.
