Anyone got their hands on an EMP in .40? Looking real hard at this piece for my new carry gun but for the money I want to make sure its right. Cannot find anyone in town that has one so I can look at it.

I have heard that they are a little finicky on ammo, but that is only from one source.

I've heard good reports on the Springfield. I purchased a Ruger P345 SS in the summer. It is a .45 ACP and shoots really well, just not sure if I'm sold on the .45. I may go down do the .40 or 9mm, since I don't foresee the need to inflict serious injury to anyone, although I have thought about carrying it into the woods and taking a shot at a buck if I can get one close enough. I'm loaded with the Magtech Guardian Gold 230 gr. JHP.

Not to worried about it. I work with a guy who's best friend works at the Armory. I am planning on a complete custom job with lightening holes, slide and trigger job. Just want to get a look at it in actual size to see if it feels as good as it looks.
