I'm using 2-50grain 777 pellets with a 777 primer, getting almost a second delay between hammer drop to ignition, please advise.

Pellets seem to hesitate before igniting.Plus after you swaub or clean fire a cap to dry out nipple!

It could be your primers. I noticed this year while firing caps in the dark, that winchesters were throwing a flash about 6 inches out the end of the barrel. I switche to Remington Premier primers and they were throwig a flash almost 2 feet out the end of the barrel. All I will shoot now are the premiers.

Get new primers. Never have a delay with my CVA Kodiak and I shoot 150gr. 777...

Look's like I got a bad lot of the 777 primers, a new box of Winchesters took care of my problem, Thank's All.
