Can anyone recommend a couple of good shotguns, either O/U or SxS. I am in the market if anyone has any for sale. I would like a quality gun, but I would also like to stay under a 1000$? I just need some suggestions so I can get out and start looking. Thanks, Ben.

I have shot several berett's over the years and they shoot great. I would look at maybe the white wing versions I think they are on the lower end. Another option is an Ithica/SKB which are the same guns. I also own a Mossberg silver reserve in 28 ga. that I like really well. I have it as a saddle gun and really don't mind banging it up. The only draw back is it does not have ejectors and if you are planning on shooting a bunch the ejectors make it nice.

Browning Citori is a fav. I see alot of people shooting them. They operate smoothly and usually sell for a good price. Also a 28" barrel holds its value better over time.

Second on the Citori Great Gun, Great Value... I own two of them. 12Ga Trap Special, and a 20Ga White Lightning. You should be able to find one for $800+.

CZs are very nice and priced right. Beretta or Browning are about the best out there until you want to spend mega bucks. SKBs are nice as well.

Went into the local Dick's today and they had several (Did not handle any) different brands and models of OU for under a grand...
