what powder charge of 777 would work best with the 338gr platinums? im shooting 120grs of loose 777 right now but the group is just a little loose but not too bad. also i have been told the 120grs of 777 is equivelant to 150grs of pyrodex. shooting a cva optima elite with 28in barrel.

I shoot the 338 gr platinums with 100 grains fffg 777. They Group really well with 100gr. I got a complete pass through on a doe tonight at around 75 yds.

im shooting ffg 777 behind my platinum 338s. would 100grs be enough to work at say 150yds?
