Killed a button buck at 326 yards (lasered) Saturday in Wayne County.
It was my first oppurtunity to break the 200 yard barrier. I'd practiced at 300 and knew my drop. It's pretty cool to shoot, hear the impact, and watch the deer crumple thru the scope.
Zero wind and a near perfect solid rest with the help of a Poplar tree.
The best part was I was able to share the moment with a friend. He assisted with the timing of the shot (shoot now) and was there for the obligatory high five/beer.
Load and gun:
Savage 10ml2 with accutrigger, Leupold VX3 with Boone & Crockett reticle (last post is zero at 300 with large triangle setting), 43 gr SR-4759, win 209, 250 gr Hornady SST with supplied sabot, Leica LRF900 rangefinder.

Why not shoot a doe and let the little bucks grow.

Why pass a deer anyway...a deer is a deer regardless of age, sex, or size.

Thanks for the one positive post, Mossygoose.
I guess when you do something that most others can't - you should expect ridicule. Especially here. Appreciate that guys.
None of you know me and therefore shouldn't cast judgement. I've killed two bucks in TN since 2001 (an 8 and a 9). I've killed between 22-30 does since then. When you strive to kill does like I do, then you're going to have some antlerless buck mortality - especially at yardages most of you cannot shoot.
Steven-
Learn some respect. The Marine sniper in the lease next to us sure knows it. He thought it was a [censored] good shot - as do I.
I was proud enough of it to include the fact that it was a button buck - a fact that I regretted for about 3 seconds.
