In case you decide to store your muzzleloader while it's loaded wrap a bread tie around the trigger gaurd. That way you will remember it's already loaded.

I use a piece of flagging tape around the muzzle, there's no mistaking that.

You better hope EVERYONE that's in the house or may come into contact with teh gun knows that it's loaded. Safest is to just unload the thing each day. Bullets & powder are cheep.
