I did some final range work yesterday. Finally found a gravel pit that was unoccupied. Bring on Saturday! Whatever walks by (deer or coyote) is gonna get it!

I put a new VX-III on the Savage and she is drilling. I have already been ML hunting at AEDC, but didn't see a deer. I am ready to get on with it.

Finished up yesterday...

65 yards hit a skoal can within 1/4 inch of each other...

I usually sight mine in 1 inch high at 100 but I just never get a shot that far....40 yards..BOOM....DEAD!!!!

the farthest i ever shot a deer with my ml was 45 left steps. my pace count for 100meters is 62 times the left foot hits the ground so that shot was about 75 or 80 yards..
