I just converted my old Knight to a new ignition system. I am going to try shooting pellets with 250 grain sabots......I have always shot 90 grain of loose powder and round balls with good results.......Is 100 grains of powder enough to push the 250 grain sabots or should I go with 150?
I will not have a shot over 100 yards........ever.

There are some people who always seem angry and continuously look for conflict.

Walk away; the battle they are fighting is not with you, but with themselves.

Why kill two birds with one stone when you can kill six with a shotgun?

My older Knight shot 100 grains and a 250 gr. Barnes bullet very well. I was using a musket cap for ignition.

I shoot a knight with a 209 conversion kit. I use 100gr 777 behint a Hornady Green .50 cal sabboted .44 300gr XTP hollow point. I get 1.5in groups at 150yds. I have dropped the last 7 deer I shot at in their tracks with it. Ode deer was shot at 170yds. I aint changing a dang thing.
If the government wants my guns, I will give them the bullets first.

I did the same with my Knight 50 cal. several years ago. I now use three 30 grain pellets (90 grain same as with loose powder), gun shoots the same. I did not even have to adjust the scope. With the old Knight, I think 150 grain would be too much for the barrel. The new guns have a heavier barrel that can handle 150 grain.
