thats some THICK salad in that first pic. What seeding rate and mix did you use?
You must have worked hard cause I just noticed in the pic of you with the two dogs in the back ground the stuff is growing on the rocks at your feet! Dang you got fertile rocks!

you are right those are rocks in that pic by my feet. it is next to a creek bottom. actually there are only rocks on the edge right there 90% of that plot is really good rich soil. usually they eat the der and then in the winter hammer the wheat and in spring the clover gets big and tall and they nail that. as for seeding rate 50 #der 50 # crimson 100# wheat. i know that is alot but it seems to work alot better for me the more i put out. fert is 750# lime is 2000#
