Confirmed zero Sunday. Shot at 200 and 300 yards. First crosshair down on the Leupold B&C reticle was minus 2" @ 200. Last crosshair down was +5" at 300.
Probably have no shot or a 40 yard shot come mz season, but the Savage is capable regardless.
Edited to add:
Should add that 200 yd target was approx. 20' below line of sight, so first crosshair down is probably closer to zero at 200.
Likewise, third crosshair would be the 300 zero instead of post. Also this was shooting the large triangle setting.

59.5 grains of VV 120 under a 300 grain Hornady Hp .458 will be my load of the season.

My load has been the same for a while - 43 gr SR-4759 and the 250 SST. (2305 fps).
