I haven't set eyes on a deer since last sat. morning. I hunted mornings on wed. fri. and today. Hoping these cool temps would get them moving some.

I hope you start seeing deer soon. I know the rain we got really changed them in my area. When I was on my way home Friday evening just before dark I was seeing deer almost everywhere it seemed. I guess they enjoyed the rain too and rightfully so.

Sure enough as this weather patterns began to change you'll see more deer. I just began to see deer last weekend on one of my places where i was only seeing them on the trail cams.

FWIW, I very rarely see many deer in any of my hunting spots in the AM .....to the point I almost never hunt mornings at all any longer...evenings are an entirely different matter however...(though it's nice to get them early in the day....not much you can do about that)

Might be worth "changing"....."your patterns"???

Haven't seen anything where I hunt either. No scrapes, no rubs, no poop, no tracks, nothing. Last year the place was crawling with them, this year nothing. Probably the lack of food in the area just can't believe all those deer have left. Seems some would stay around. On the bright side I did see 15 deer either crossing the road while I was going to the lease or in the park where I camp out. They all looked pretty skinny to me but in good shape and frisky. Saw the nicest looking 4 pt on the road in the park. Rack was high for a 4 pt and heart shaped. Really nice. By the looks of the bucks I have seen it doesn't look like they are in the rut there yet and the fawns looked real small for this time of year. Seems like everything is about two to three weeks late this year. Would really like to see the leaves fall and open up the woods some. Might go back next week for xbow hunting.
