To Fertilize Again or Not?

when we put our food plots is we fertilized with 13-13-13...... should we fertilized again? or not?
they seem to be doing well..but i have noticed that in some areas the plots arent doing as well...you can tell the areas tha didnt get as much fertilizer as in other....kind of streaky
any help would be greatly appreciated

On the other posts, people have recommended to fertilize again 30 days after sprouting. Hope that helps.

Joedeer the answer would be yes. If you have already a good stand another round of fertilizer will really kick it in the rear. Try and plan your spreading with a rain and you will be glad you did.

I'd suggest broadcasting some ammonium nitrate or urea. This will give that new growth a much needed shot if nitrogen.

I'd suggest broadcasting some ammonium nitrate or urea. This will give that new growth a much needed shot if nitrogen.
Yup. I like to top-dress with Nitrogen about 60 days after germination. The cereal grains (wheat/oats) will get a real boost from it. I would not bother adding more P and K as they are not as volalite (don't evaporate like nitrogen does).

what fertilizer should i use...like a 33-0-0 or 13-13-13

Everyone above thinks 33-0-0 would be your best bet.

ok...so just straight nitrogen....any idea at what rate to put it down at
