Do not have my notes here, this is what I remember.
Gun - Remington BDL 270
IMR 4350 - 53grs with cci primers, velocity 2960, with 130 gr
sierra - Group size 3/4 inch and under at 100 yards.
Change the powder to 55 grs (Max at that time, don't know now).
Groups were the same size but velocity went up to 3000.
These were checked with a ohler 33 back a good many years ago.
Hope this helps. I could use other heads and generally get the
same groups. Oal was just to fit in mag.
As you know, start low and work up.

I used IMR7828 with 140`s, and N560 with 130`s. I love the 270 Winchester.

Here's a load that has worked well in my Ruger 77, 2 Rem 700's, and an older Win 70. Actually, I've shot several groups in the 1/2" range with this load in my Ruger and 1 of the 700's. It's not very hot but will smash a deer:
49.5 gr IMR 4831
CCI 250
140 gr Nosler BT set 0.01 off the lands
Here's a little hotter load that works well but hasn't proven quite as accurate(Consistent groups in the 0.75-0.9" range)
53.0 gr IMR 4831
CCI250
140 gr Nosler Accubonds
Your magazine will probably limit how far off the lands you'll have to load this, but 0.01 works well.
