If you are expecting a 200 yard shot, in my humble opinion, I would sight it in to hit point of aim at 200 then shoot it at 100, 50 etc. and see what it does there.
Or sighting it in at 100 then seeing what it will do at 200 will work, IF it don't drop too much at 200. Not saying you would, but sometimes, some people get excited at the moment of truth and forget to adjust their "holdover" accordingly.

I personally wouldnt do that.. Lets be real.. Even with long range weapons, how many shots do we really take at long range?
I would sight in to be dead on at 100 and then make any hold adjustments for 200 if you really want to shoot that far.
Not crapping on your opinion Ruger, just telling mine. My real point here is, how many 200 yard shots do we see, over less than 100 yard shots?
Me personally, I would rather not shoot past 100 with a ML, but thats not saying I wont..

Dead on at 100 and if its 200 let it walk till regular gun, also just my opinion based on the amount of drop between 100 and 200 yards and the difficulty of accurately estimating the true yardage from stand to critter.

1" high @ 100 and then see what you have @ 200 yards. Depending on the load for your gun, you might be surprised as to how much it doesn't drop. My gun drops about 3", but I have read that others drop 8" to 10", in which I personally wouldn't be comfortable trying to guess for a 200 yard shot.
