Rape question

Due to the lack of water I was rather late putting in the plot ( 2 weeks ago). I'm wondering how much the rape will continue to grow after the first frost. As of yesterday the rape is sprouting, but isn't over a few inches high. Will frost stop the growth?

From personal experience I can say there's a chance a frost will take out some of the young sprouts. However, rape is pretty resistant to frost after a while. If it's a few inches tall it may very well make it through.
The second year I planted it we got a frost while most of the plants were right around 4 inches tall. It didn't seem to affect the plot. The stuff kept growing.

Rape is a winter plant. Like Trapper said, as long as it isn't in the early sprout stage, it will grow right through hard freezes.
