Hillbilly I think your rifle in the pic above is the best looking rifle Ive seen in along time! The LSS is too glossy to me. They are pretty but I like the finish of the CDL stainless better.

I dont see paying obscene amounts of money for a gun, regardless of what it is.


Although, when I have $1600 I am gonna buy me a Armalite AR-30 single shot in .308 winchester

About 3 years ago I actually went to a gunstore with intents on buying a Kimber Montana. I picked it up, felt great, good balance, etc. Then I fiddled with the bolt and found that it had a huge amount of lateral play even when closed. Not sure why it was so sloppy, but that turned me off. For a $300 gun, sure I could live with it; but at $1000, I expect it to be built to very tight tolerances.
