Any ideas about a good way to add some weight to the butt section of a Stevens 200 synthetic stock?

Personally, I would not recommend the "epoxy" mixture, epoxy is messy and somewhat forever after it dries and if the weight ratio is not correct you are stuck with a usless stock.
I had a Knight MZ with a hollow syn stock, it was so dang frt heavy, I hated that gun. I did use shot, but use the expandable foam as the filler material. I added shot until it felt correct, I removed the shot and started to add the foam a little at a time, adding shot along with it, this distributed the shot evenly.
The foam is easy to remove if need be, you just dig it out with a spoon. Also, you can drill it and add shot into the pockets and reseal with foam or silicone plugs.
