You just gave me an idea on how to use up a bunch of scrape lengths of 24" plastic driveway culvert pipe.

I get cut offs from my brother inlaws construction company all the time. 3 and 4 foot pieces.

Huh, will have to experiment a little.

Great idea.

Foggy that looks to me like you could add a little copper tubing to that rig, and start a still up, and make a little high octane fuel.

Guys, if your going to be using feeders like this where there will be lots of mouth to mouth and saliva contact, please clean your feeders regulary.

Since it's a polished stainless steel tray seems like it would be no worse than a salt lick.

Foggy, it is not in the weather like a lick though, has that little roof over it plus its not soluble like a lick, deer also dont dive into salt like they do feed. Im not here to get in an argument, just please for your sake, my sake, and the deers sake, if you absolutely must feed, then please wash it every now and then.

Hey, got a great one.
1. cut a 2x4 2 foot long
2 cut 2 peices allthread (any size) 8inch long
3. use a 18 inch peice of 3" PVC with a cap on top
4. About 4" from bottom put in a damper in the pipe, like for stoves
5. When attaching the PVC to the board, put an old mattress spring behind it, and adjust the damper joint so just a little corn falls out.
5. hang at 6" from the ground.
6. As the deer bump the feeder the spring makes the corn fall out, approx cost minus the corn and time about 20 bucks for 3.
