For the money, you might want to look at a Bushnell Banner. Very good quality for not alot of money.
I personally have a trashco world class 3-9X40 on mine. My dad gave me the scope so I use it.

Bushnell Elite 3200 3x9, had a simmons 8point,liked it till I got in the woods, could'nt see good thru it so upgraded..I'd sell it for $25.................

I have a Bushnell Banner 3-9X40 on my Encore. I have the scope with the 6 inch eye relief. It does a super job!

Burris 1.5x5 posilock on my TC GreyHawk for 7yrs.... droppped on concrete near the safe (fell over on the scope) still shoots the same Point of impact as when mounted.TC Hawken on the Omega not as old but shoots as well maybe not quite as bright but very good

I currently have my 2nd Simmons 8pt. on my rem. The first one lasted bout 6 years. The power adjustment dial wouldn't move anymore from fouling.
