Need some advice. I sent a Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport back to Bushnell over three weeks ago for repair. I called them today to check on the process, since I hadn't heard anything. The woman I spoke with was very nice, but informed me the cost to repair the unit was more than it was worth. She offered me a deal on a Yardage Pro Tour Rangefinder for $102.oo or a Yardage Pro Sport 450 for $70.00. Anyone familiar with either of these Units? I checked the prices on ebay and these prices are cheaper. Thanks for your help.
I'm posting this question on the other forums as well.

Thanks, Carl

Why was it not covered under warranty?

What is the new cost of either of these item?

Are they new or refurbished?

Canon Camera Co did the same thing to me, I now have a Fugi.

They will keep your broken one and fix it and resell it to someone else.

The warranty had expired. They are offerring them for 50% off the retail price. Wal-Mart, Bass Pro, and Cabela has the Yardage Pro Sport 450 for $149.00. These are new units, not refurbished. I believe the Yardage Pro Tour is marketed for golfers, not hunters, yet will still fit my needs.
