It did OK at best, I loaded 4 shot groups and the best might have dipped around 1". I will have to try another couple powders and see how these targets compare to those and give him the best possible combination. I loaded 3 charge weights of H4831SC with 130 Accubonds.
He is a serious deer hunter, and was complaining to another guy I load for the deer were running off after he shot them, he was going to sell the rifle even. My friend told him to let me handload for it and he`d be happy.
I didn`t care for the ammo he was using and explained why the deer were running off, and told I can surely fix the problem.

Mine seams to like IMR 4350
What Type of A-bolt?
I was curious of how it shot, because my old stainless stalker shot really good (great), but my composite stalker is only pretty good shooting. It seams like the shorter and lighter barrel really heats up fast, and I suppose it would have a different vibration aspect. Its not my Bench Rest Gun anyway
It's nice and light though. Give and Take I guess

I didn`t realize there were different tapers on the A-Bolts. His is the Composite Stalker.
I have only tried H4831SC as today was trip numero uno.
You shooting 130`s?

130 Hornady Interbond, Rem Brass, Cci200 primers, 59.5gr Imr4350 seated just off the lands, about 3,100 fps

Try some Magpro if you have any,it's awesome stuff in the WSM's I've been having great luck with it and 130 gr SST's,bad nasty on deer as well.

I would try 66 or 67 grains of RL19 and 130 grain Interbond.

Just thought this might help,I'm using 74.5 gr of Mag-pro and getting just a hair over 3200 fps with the 130's.

Not really got a couple of 2 minute sprinkels,most likly dry before it hit the ground :(. Not so good here our food plots are in bad shape. How bout you folks?

I planted some plots last weekend by Bucksnort and was wondering if it was a waste of seed
I'm hoping the Humidity has been high enough in the mornings to maybe germinate
The plots are mostley in a bottom, semi shaddy area
Just a little sprinkle here to in Nashville last week
Man this weather sucks

Well, I got the chair over to the closet in my loading room and lo and behold a fresh pound of Magpro.
I`m gonna try the suggested load 74.5, RL19, WXR.
