Thinking real seriously about selling the Remington 700 Bdl .270
1985 model very good to excellent condition. What's a fair price for this rifle. I'll get a pic up as soon as the camera battery charges. Thanks

Buzz, I asked "Google" to see what he'd say. Looking at the 3 online gun auctions I normally surf, most of the 700 BDL's in 270 were fetching between $400 and $550. Most claimed at least 90% on wood and bluing and several had scopes included. Reading your original post, I'd say your's is at least that or better. You might try browsing any local gun/pawn shops for similar rifles and pricing them before putting an "asking" price on it.

A pawn shop would probably give you around $300-350 for the rifle and try to sell it in the neighborhood of around $425-475. Price seems to fluctuate in some locations, however. It could bring more or less depending on that.
If you put it up on the TNdeer classifieds, I'd suspect it'll sell reasonably well in the $400-$425 range if in good shape, but could bring close to $500 if it's like new. Pictures of its condition would help.
Don't sell it unless you really need the money or just aren't happy with it.

Most are selling for around $75 but just since you're a nice guy I'll give you $80 for it.
