Tony Stewart? The guy had a tire rubbing the for 15 laps.
Did the team think it would never blow out? He took Carl out in the wreck that was inevitable. I just don't see why they didn't take care of the tire rub instead of ignoring it.
At least he fell way back in the points because of his own foolish mistake.
How many times can you white smoke the side wall of a tire before it shreds to pieces? Just ask Tony Stewart.

Can't wait to hear what kind of comments he comes up with. The commentators seemed to be mixed, with Rusty even saying he might have stayed out. Nevertheless, they gambled and paid big price.

I don't think Tony is any more special than Jimmie Johnson. Where was it at Indy, when he stayed out with a rub and wrecked. What about Micheal Waltrip. Anyone in the chase would have probably done the same thing. Even Carl said something like he would have probably stayed out if it was him.

Tony and zippy made a gamble it didn't pay off thats racing.
The were rolling the dice that there would be another caution. It didn't happen.
What cheeses me of is the restart where Tony got his damage. You don't put 12 lapped cars in front of a whole bunch of slower cars. That right there was a recipe for disaster.
