I am using T/C Shockwaves(240 gr) with Pyrodex 50/30 pellets (90 gr) I have a Nikon 3X9 on top.
My groups are good with this set up, I haven't had a chance to shot since last Weds. I hope to get out tonight and do a little more testing.

I shoot 240 gr XTP with 100gr of triple 7. This load gets around 1 1/2" groups pretty consistenly. Mine wears a Simmons Whitetail Classic in 2.5x8.

Mine LOVES heavy Barnes bullets (290gr or 300gr) and loose 777 powder. Not a full charge, 110gr. of loose 777.
As far as I'm concerned there is no better muzzleloading bullet than a Barnes.

Shot mine Friday.
My Omega: 150gr 777 and a 245gr Barnes Spitfire (not tipped)
If deer is seen, deer is dead. I'm comfortable out to about 250 yards with this load. I shot better groups than I used to with my Knight and Powerbelts.
