So what have yall been seeing? more deer, less deer, or about the same?
I have seen more deer this year on my property than I ever have before!

Pretty common to see around a 10% decline in population due to EHD. Some properties much worse. But antler development per age-class is excellent this year.

I'm seeing about 40% to 50% less deer. Reminds me of late 70'S early 80's hunting.

Any other time, I have to honk to get the doe family unit out of driveway in front of my long driveway, (3 mature does, 4fawns) but since labor day, nothing. Can't even jump any with the 4 wheeler in our back scrub of 45 acres, (usually 5 or so) every time....now: none. Seen one doe cross the road about 1/4 mile from my house. When jumped over 3 strands of barbed wire, she stumbled, rolled and trotted off at an uneven gait, she also looked very dark colored. Just don't know yet.

I would make any decisions by what you see with your own eyes. I would look more towards trail-camera pictures over the long-haul (not just a week or two of pictures).

Quit trying to jump em up and hunt them. They're gonna cycle around the range as their food sources change.
