A gal told me today that shooting moon noks in my ten point could damage my bow. I just bought some new tenpoint moon noks and been shooting then for a while. Does it really make a diffrence between flat and the moon?? Because it seems to me the moon noks line up better on the string anyway?? Anybody got any ideas on this?? Thanks....b

I have been to Ten Pt. site, listen! They sell moon noks and arrows with moon noks, but they all say for Horton and barnett. I looked at all their arrows for Ten Pts. And they're flat noks.Ten Pt. has a forum you can drop in and give them a shout.

Moon nocks "can" be used on Ten Point bows if aligned precisely perpendicular to the cock feather (vane that rides in the rail).
They are required in some other crossbows as the tolerances are not as great as TenPoint's and the moon nocks helps to keep the string from jumping over or going under the string causing a dry fire condition.
You can use either in a TenPoint, I tend to believe that the flat nocks are more accurate.

Randy from their site told me moon noks could be use but flat were more accurate. I really see no diif. The tech at the archery place I was at was head strong against them though. I got some new Moon Noks guess I have to buy another crossbow to try them out on LOL Happy hunting to all
