The pulse of your forward hand could be throwing you off. Try a High Loop Sling. You can get a good one from Creedmoor Sports. David Tubb endorses one. After a few minutes, your forward hand and arm will become numb and lessen the "pulse jump."

Thanks again. Sitting position shooting at the John Sevier Range run by TWRA. Right again on the 12x power. Definatly not your typical hunting situation, just trying to get as perfect as possible with factory loads, off the shelf rifle, and 50 years old eyes with bifocals!
Time to think on kill zones and leave the olympic shooting to others, the editors of shooting magazines, or the military guys who protect me and this country..

Work out and get in great physical shape. Your heart and lungs will then be much more efficient. Your heart will beat slower and smoother, and you can get much more benefit from a deep breath.

Swampster, Kind of hard getting in great shape since I was worn out from helping on 3 coronary artery bypass operations yesterday. My legs and back were pretty much shot!! BTW, I also fish or shoot worse after a night on call, which was what happened that day.
But, I will take your advice, advice that I give out readily as well, but not for better shooting. HA!
