nice job. When I'm shooting on a rest, I like to lean forward to rest by body on the table. JMO

You got the rest backwards. The trigger guard is supposed to rest on that little knob for elevation.

You got the rest backwards. The trigger guard is supposed to rest on that little knob for elevation. I know its backwards but I like it better that way, I'm sorta a backwards sorta guy  Actually with that mz it will not fit all the way down in the vise good, the other way so that is why I shoot with it turned around.

I picked up an old ironing board at a garage sale last fall, the pad was all torn up, so the lady was selling it for a couple bucks. I brought it home, stripped the cover off, glued a rubber mat to the top and whaaalaaa!!! Portable shooting bench.
It is light weight, folds up easily and has the width and stability for steady shooting.
Just an idea I thought I'd share.
