How does one go about tunning in arrow's. I put a scope on my horton hd 150? I set it in with bullet points dead on at 10 & 20 yards but when I put on my muzzy's 4 blade it shot low and to the right.
Thanks

Slick Trick broadheads are the most accurate broadhead Ive ever shot. I currently shoot the Montec G5 because I love the simple solid one piece design and they are almost the same in accuracy with my setup. I dont believe you need to tune any arrows at all. With your Horton I guess you have a moon nock thus the need for a cock feather/vane but I think thats about it. I personally like high FOC. The heavy front and light weight back is the way to go in my opinion but you can do that later if you want. Season is getting close and so long as they shoot and hit where you want them to then a dead deer it will be. Good luck.

What kind of arrows are you using? The reason I asked is I had a similar problem with my Horton, which I was able to fix. The crossbow came with aluminum arrows which I did not use. I had heard so much about carbon arrows that I purchased a set of carbons. They shot dead on with field points, but also shot low and to the right with Muzzy 3 blade broadheads. I used the aluminum arrows that came with the bow and with them, field points and broadheads shot exactly the same. With a large piece of foam as a backstop, I also found that the aluminum arrows penetrated deeper than the carbon arrows.

I aldo have an HD 150. I tried some 100 gr muzzy MX-3's and guess what ? Low and to the right! Then I got some 100 gr spitfires. They hit right with the field points.
