Garmin has upgraded their eTrex models to a new "high sensitivity" receiver that is supposed to work under trees and in canyons as well as the SiRF chips that are in the 60CSx and a few other higher-end models. The newest upgraded models have the letter "H" in the model name to denote High sensitivity chips. The basic eTrex H is under $100 at Amazon. Basspro has the new eTrex Legend HCx for $269 but it's $219 with free shipping and no sales tax from Amazon.
