It will shoot broadheads and you will love it. I've got one just like it. You will find as the season goes on it is not much different than youe mathews.

One big difference is shot opportunity. You gain some and lose some. With my xbow I have a little more range - but I lose ALL shot opportunities behind me when hunting from a treestand. I've I'd have had my Mathews MQ1 with me a couple of years ago I'd have gotten a broadside 20 yard shot at one of the biggest bucks I've ever seen. Luck would have it by the time he got out far enough for me to not hit the trunk of the tree with the limbs of the crossbow - he was standing behind a bunch of brush. I had to sit there and watch him walk away.
