With the lack of acorns and such how much would you increase the seeding rate for your plots?
I usually overseed by 10-20% in a normal year with plenty of rain. That's just for good measure. This year I'm sure the plots will be hammered from the beginning.
What do you think? Double it?

I'll have to replant all my food plots every thing is dead this year.

I'm going to plant at normal rate. However, I'm gonna keep some wheat in storage to overseed if need be.
Plus, I doubt I could overseed anymore than I already do at initial planting. lol

You should ALWAYS plant the normal rate. If increasing your feeding capabilities is your concern then you need to increase your feeding area.

I agree with hook. Overseeding of some plants will kill out others in a mix. BUT,.. i may add in an aditional 20 lbs or so of wheat into mine this year if needed.
