pellet is supposed to be faster however it is more expensive and for my bucks i had just as soon use bulk and save $$$$. The best practice is to lime in the spring and plant in the fall....Pellet lime can be around 3.67 per bag of 60 #s....or so and you can get bulk lime for $23 or therabouts per ton....do the math and you will spend a fortune on pelletized..

AlSwamper,
If you use bulk lime try to get it from AL and not TN. The state of AL make the crushers crush it finer than TN does.

We get ours from Wayne Coop in bulk. Usually just take the ATV trailers and have them put as much as they can. Good thing about Wayne County is they actually put you on the scales and weigh you. You get what you pay for and you know how much you have exactly.
