Who has experience? My main concern is constantly bumping deer from bed. It's thick bur dies have some big oaks mixed in. Thoughts?

How are you gonna get a shot?All the cedar thickets around here is way too thick to shoot.

Hunt inside but near the edge of the thicket. If you hunt outside the cedars you won't see in as well. Find some good oaks to sit around

Also I mainly hunt them with a rifle sitting on the ground

I found a small open area with an white oak raining acorns buys it's thick. Furthest shot maybe 25 yards.

that sounds perfect to me. I like the close shots and lots of cover so you don't get seen. Just don't shoot a twig
