Sorry, i live 6 miles from it and never fished there. I do know that u must rent a boat from the park. Bring your own troling motor and battery. They also rent canoes and paddle boats. U can fish from the bank but most is wooded

I would focus on the little pockets and around the cabins that hang over the water. I have caught some nice bass out of there. There are plenty to be caught.

Some good cat fishing off the back of those cabins.I would tie my rods off over night and get up the next morning and check them caught some really nice cats that way.

Yes there are cabins that hang over the lake. We have stayed in them before and they are pretty comfortable. Great hiking as well if you are interested. I would encourage you to wear something for ticks. The last time I scouted for a quota hunt, I got covered with the seed ticks. Life was miserable for about week. If bass fishing, I would throw soft plastics and maybe even some topwater baits if the mornings stay cool like they have been. Also, like Woodson stated, there are some great cats in there as well. If I am not mistaken, the state record bluegill and the state record channel cat was caught out of there.

I cat fished behind the inn there. No weight just hook and liver when it falls to about 4 feet hold on it wont be long. Had a blast just sad it took me until the last day to figure out how to catch them.

I've caught catfish about 60ft off the dam.
I've caught quite a few bass in there on soft plastics with light line fishing the points trying to target the bigger depth transitions.
