If you had $250 to $300 to spend on a new muzzleloader, what would you buy?

Do you mind sharing your reasons why? This is one of the models I have been looking at.

Optima! great gun with a real SS barrel, sweet trigger and a barrel that will shoot lights out.

shoots right with the high end guns and for the money you cant beat it I personally have the CVA APEX only because I ordered an Optima at Benton Shooters supply and they sent a blued gun instead of stainless so while I was at the store the Apex caught my eye with the interchangeable barrels. I have several friends and family that own the Optima and they love it. I don't know about the price range but I have alco had the TC Omega which was a good shooter but I personally prefer the CVA

I'm a TC fan and you can get an omega in your price range. That's just my preference though.

My old one, a Lyman, was stolen over the summer. Due to a lack of funds I picked up a CVA Wolf. Excellent grouping out of the box, and a whole lot easier to carry. For the first time in a while I'm excited about my season.
