Please descend on the Clinch above 61 bridge and lay waste to the beasts that have infested the river. The river is absolutely loaded with 40+ pound fish and no one chasing them.

I'm happy to pass along detailed info to anyone willing to kill every wretched one they can legally.

I love stripers but they've crossed the line and need to be beaten back. As of now they're reducing the trout population to dangerously low numbers. Greatest gamefish we have IMO, but they need to be confined to waters where they don't decimate another target species

A bit out of the way for me but I would love to get on some big rockfish like that. I do know a couple spots closer to home though. Not sure if they've been catching em lately

Don`t know if I can get my 14 ft fiber glass tri hull with a 40 in there safely. Would if I could. Love to fish the Clinch but afraid to put my boat in it. Nephew and I are keepin our eyes open for a cheep 14 ft john boat to use with his 6hp motor.

I agree with you Setterman! Every time I go to that part of the river and kill a big trout it always has trout in its stomach. Every trout over 20" should be killed! (legally of course)

There are no trout over 20 inches in the Clinch.

Can anyone provide a little more information on these fish. I have only fished the clinch a few times, however I just recently moved very close to it. Do you catch these fish when they Re pulsing I crossed the 61 bridge last week and it looked incredibly shallow. Are there any deep holes up past the bridge? I am from the Chesapeake Bay Area and would love to get back on some striper
