You're cutting it very close this late. My grandad always told me to have it in the ground by July 4th...I tempted fate one year and planted July 9th and they barely made it. Depending on how much you're planting I'd give it a try. And I think you and I live in the same neck of the woods.

Yea Kingston area. I didnt get in the ground this weekend and probably want at this point, it would be for our table.

My Wife would eat corn-on-the-cob for breakfast so for sure she would have me planting at 2:00 AM if necessary. Just looked up corn maturation. You should be okay. But for sure I wouldn't dawdle.

I'm thinking I would be looking at this....

I'd try. I doubt you're planting 250 acres so what does it really hurt to try? Mix some field peas in with them and you'll at least get some peas. Just pick a short growing season variety.
Worst case you'll have some 4' stalks for Halloween decorations. They get like $7 a bundle for them at Home Depot. You can put some out by the road for sale for $1 and make a profit.
