This is what I'm afraid of. I have heard if we are at war the presidential election could be pushed back

In 1864 Lincoln had to run for reelection, and if not for the military vote (which up until that time had been sketchy), he could have lost.

In 1940 and 1944 FDR had to run for reelection just prior to and during WWII.

Both of these wars were the largest the United States has ever been in, and elections were held.

I wish he would go alone and negotiate with those ISIS killers himself face to face I'm sure he could reason with them as he is so smart and articulate.

That's exactly what I said to myself when I read this.

New to the forum and this caught my eye. Let's not forget FDR, many of his progressive policy's still effect us even today. There is only so much undergrowth a forest can sustain before a cleansing fire sparks and clears it all out. The number of takers has far surpassed the makers, and their backs, and last nerve, are dangerously close to snapping.

Agree, we need a real fire to keep lame people like Lamar Alexander in check. He slithered his way back home to DC as he again fooled the good voters of TN. Scouts Out, Sir.

Even scarier is that she knows how to get things done in DC and I am afraid she has a very socialist agenda.
