My wife and I will be married 10 years next year. We didn't really get a honeymoon. Got married on a Saturday. Spent the night at Montgomery Bell state park. Went back to work on Monday. 10 years and 3 kids later its time. What beach do y'all recommend for us to go to for a week. I don't like crowds. Looking for something nice and low key

Anywhere Gulf Coast anytime after school starts. Once the kids are back in school, the crowds are gone.

We enjoyed Destin, since there are TONS of good restaurants.

Another place to check is Ft. Morgan, AL. We just got back from there and stayed at the Beach Club condos through the VRBO site. At Ft. Morgan you are about 15 minutes away from any Gulf Shores, AL crowds, but still convenient to run in to the restaurants to eat. We usually do breakfast and lunch at the condo and run in for some seafood at dinner.

If you like seafood, our favorites this time were Desoto's in Gulf Shores, and TinTop in Bon Secour (sp?). The Original Oyster House was good as well.

Which one do I recommend?

Punta Ala in Tuscany, hands down. Can't drive there, though.

I will second Ft Morgan, Beach Club Resort. We have been there the last couple summers and love it.

If you go right after Labor Day (first weekend in September) there will be off-season rates and kids are back in school.
I go every year to Orange Beach AL the 2nd week of September and its still warm and VERY few people there.

Hilton Head island, SC or Tybee Island or St. Simon Island. All of these are on the east coat around GA and SC border. All are low key and VERY relaxing
