Never really thought I'd want to get rid of my Glocks. I bought my first one the month I turned 21 (12 years ago) and have been in love with them ever since. However, I've slowly grown to dislike the "angle" at which the gun points. I love them for their reliability and simplicity, but

.... alas.. my heart hath fallen for a new love! Sigs!

Picked up a Sig P227 (with night sights) .45 today to go with my P938. Hoping to pick up a P229 soon.

Outpost Armory had a fair price, and everything was 10% off for fathers and they paid the background check fee. The price wound up being better than anything I could find online or in other stores. I was extremely happy.

Congrats-Sigs are excellent no doubt but too many controls for me. I ain't much of a pistolero so the KISS principle works best for me. Sounds like a good buy on the Sig .45.

The decocker on them takes some getting used to. Feels kinda junky at first. If I had to buy my own it wouldn't be my first pick

They sure aren't as quick to tear down and get back together as a Glock! At least not the first time...

New hammer spring, trigger, and SRT kit on the way.

Also found out that Sig is running a "rebate" right now. Purchase a new Sig from 6/15 - 8/1, send in the receipt, and receive 2 free magazines and a pistol bag.

Just submitted my form online.

Congrats! I bought my SigPro 2340 back in 2002. Eventually I bought a Glock 30 in 2008. Needless to say, my Sig is still around and the Glock was traded after 6 months of ownership. Glocks are great pistols...just not to my liking.
