Very, very difficult to accurately age bucks (at least for me) prior to mid-October.
But I'd say this buck is no older than 3 1/2, and more likely 2 1/2.

A solid 2.5 year old and if he makes it next year he could end up being a cull buck that rack not looking pretty

that would be a pretty hefty 2.5 year old compared to most i have been seeing lately which have been fairly skinny. he seems to have a pretty good gut on him. i thinks its possible he is 3.5 and just has a screwed up rack. who knows though!
