Interesting. I fell victim to that line of thinking.

But lately I've been eating eggs whenever i want. I probably have scrambled eggs 2, maybe 3 times a week. Is it healthy? Maybe, maybe not. I don't put salt on my eggs, and I only mix a little milk with the eggs.

I have gone back to using butter. I looked at the contents of margarine and couldn't pronounce some of the ingreedients, let alone know what they were.

Margarine is one molecule different then plastic. Sorry but I don't want none of that.

I usually eat at least 2 eggs a day (eggs + sauteed greens is my current favorite breakfast). Sometimes, I eat 3 or 4 a day.

It always trips me out standing in the grocery store lines in Memphis. You look at people's shopping carts and they are full of processed carbs. I also see people buying weird butter substitutes that I've never heard of. I guess because I've never paid attention to butter substitutes, it trips me out how many of them there are and the names they have.

Yeah, it's interesting to see what people put in their shopping carts. Fried fish instead of frozen fish. Hot dogs. Yuck!

I try to make good choices when I go shopping. Sometimes I'm good, sometimes I'm not. \:D

I typically have three types of oil.. olive oil (never cook with it), coconut oil, and butter.

I used my last bottle of vegetable oil as lighter fluid for charcoal grilling. It works well.

I'd be out of luck without eggs. 2 eggs, spinach, and turkey sausage scrambled together every morning.

Why don't you cook with olive oil?

And vegetable oil as lighter fluid? I gotta try that. \:\)

I don't completely understand it, but I've heard at least two different doctors who preach (and practice) wellness through nutrition that olive oil changes on a molecular level when heated and becomes almost as unhealthy as 'standard' vegetable oils.
