in 07 the last frost was in early May. 2 weeks difference is a lot. our average final frost date is 4-12 so 4 or 5 days later isn't a big deal
The killing freeze of 2007 occurred around April 15th. However, we had had an early green-up that year, trees were far more advanced in leafing out and blooming, and the freezing temps were much lower than what we experienced last night (low 20s and even upper teens). That freeze was so severe, it killed the leaves on all of the trees. I've never seen that occur before.
