By all means check out the lone wolf climbers! I've climbed trees within 50 yds of bedded deer and they never knew I was there! YES...they are that quite!
Any of the hollow tube climbers will make lots of noise that you won't even realize until you hunt with a Lone Wolf. My .02 worth.

I put both top and bottom together and drill a hole through both and put in a bolt with a wing nut to tighten them together.Works better than straps

For about $20 you can get something like neoprene tape made by hunter safety systems for the metal parts on tree stands. Havent got mine yet but my bruddy swears by it.

I always used bungee cords,but got tired of it clanging.So now I use a ratchet strap.It works great.

The foam insulation that you use on water pipes works well. I used to just snap it on. I put a little Gorillia glue on the pieces now. They stay where I put em.
ditto, plus I wrapped the insulation in camo fabric tape.

the green strap that comes with Summit stands is one of their most valuable assets. Cinch that sucker down correctly and it is together! You can get a similar strap at TSC. It is red with a black buckle.
