Final weekend was a good one for us from beginning to end. We had some of the longest races of the year, especially late in the day. Dogs were able to push them hard even in the warm afternoon sun. Closed out with 19 in all, 12 were swamp rabbits and 7 were hillbillies. We did lose one to the dogs belly.

Thats how you do it right there! Good hunt! Is swamper meat tougher than cottontail?

Absolutely John, always a great time hunting with you guys. Mud Creek to me its about the same, I can't tell much difference in the two at all.
