looks like you fellas will have the southeast portion covered. Thats great!

Good luck with the scope mounting wrcox. It will make a big difference for the better once you get it sighted in and hunting with it.

Ill be primarily in Franklin and Coffee County. All public land, bow only. Should be a good challenge.

What's the turkey population like in those areas. I sometimes travel through coffee and Franklin county. I have seen some good flocks on private properties. One of my co workers hunts in Marion county and is covered up with birds.

Population is good from my perspective. If I don't locate some birds on any given day during the season it's a odd day. AEDC has alot of birds if you can get away from the masses. I hunt AEDC quite a bit, and usually can find some birds and stay away from people. Also hunt Owl Hollow a bit, and there are some birds out there but I use my boat to access my honeyholes.

I have a couple of good places in Maury County if anyone is interested. I just joined a lease that supposedly has alot of turkeys on it. One of the members drove me around the place today and it looks great. Didn't see any birds, but the place was covered up with turkey sign.

I'll post the string. I'm apparently not smart enough to get the font size to increase. I worked on it for a while and gave up. Can you give me a little help on the font size?

They will have to quote you to copy/paste the actual text string/code.... otherwise it will keep showing up as the colored text....

but it looks good....

I sent it to them using the

commands, so it shows the actual sting. Hopefully that'll work.

Action is starting to pick up in my neck of the woods. Had 3 Toms walk right to me Saturday morning strutting hard for a couple hens that had taken up shop behind me. Saw a few more toms the same day later in the morning strutting for several hens. Have been getting pretty vocal here lately as well. Should be good for the juvi hunt this weekend.

Thats awesome!! Went this morning to listen at a new place so that I can get an idea of what the birds were doing and the birds were fired up. Heard several, still grouped up. Should be a good juvi weekend. Helped set up a blind for a friend of mine for the juvi hunt in the morning. There were seven gobblers about 50 yds from the spot we were going to set up the blind. I am sure they will have a have a great day tomorrow.

Hello Beard Collectors,

Hope everyone is having a good season so far. Since the season is winding down , I was just wondering if you all are waiting to submit any of your birds at the end of season for the contest. If so, just let me know. So that I can get all the scores tallied up for the contest. Thanks and Good Luck!!
